UGFM was recently involved with the celebrations in Yea of 155 years of State Education in the district.
Broadcasting from the Yea High School Staff room, UGFM broadcast interviews with past and present teachers, Principals and students that attended the schools of the district.
The first Principal of the current Yea High School and student of that year including the current Principal and students along with the Federal Member of Parliament were also involved in the broadcast.
Broadcasters who are to soon start broadcasting from the new Yea studio were in action on the day as well.
