Reception Tips
Check Your Antenna
Make sure you have an antenna connected to the FM antenna connection of your radio or tuner. Built-in antennas may not provide adequate reception in all areas.
Simple Wire Antenna
A simple vertical insulated wire approximately 900mm in length can greatly improve reception in most areas of our coverage zone.
Professional Installation
For difficult reception areas, consider a professional antenna installation. An outdoor FM antenna can significantly improve signal quality.
During Power Outages
Backup power generators operate at all transmitters except Flowerdale and Kinglake. During power failures in those areas, you can tune to 88.9 FM (Yea), listen via our online stream, or tune to ABC 774AM for emergency information.
